Human Rights Campaign Press Release: ENDA Passes US House
The following is a press release dated 7 November 2007 from the Human Rights Campaign, detailing the status of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (H.R. 3685).
Today, in a historic move, the U.S. House voted 235-184 to pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (H.R. 3685).

Please note that the version of ENDA that was passed does not include protection of Transgendered people. Although we have achieved an unprecedented victory for LGBQ Americans, we have failed to provide an inclusive rule of protection for all people in the LGBTQ community.
