A Hint of Things To Come
My double-flowering night-blooming cereus has surprised me by hiding a fairly mature bud while setting multiple new buds for later blooming. This large one, the length of my extended hand, is soon to open in the next few nights. If you look closely, in the second photo, you can see two inch-long buds that are in development.

Another bloom has opened on the stinky stapelia. You can see that the flower attracts houseflies with its smell and appearance of rotting meat.
