International Carnival of Pozitivities--Edition 10 posted at Transcending Gender
The 10th edition of the International Carnival of Pozitivities(ICP) is now available at Transcending Gender. Please take a few minutes to visit and bookmark the site so that you can read it at your leisure. Jennifer Burke is to be commended for her work to put this edition together and I hope that you will join me in leaving her comments of thanks.
I would be very grateful if you can post a short blurb on your blogs to announce the new edition. Additionally, I am still seeking hosts and will always be accepting submissions, so if you can include that information for your readers, that would be very helpful as well. You can direct your readers to the ICP homepage for more information and submission instructions.
It has occurred to me after reading many blogs and emails that our community is rich in organizations that work at the local level. It may be time to unite them in some way, if only via a newsletter. Los Angeles' LifeGroup, for example, is hosting a seminar on HIV and Aging that would be useful to older, longer-term survivors around the world. Meanwhile, Duke University recently held its yearly treatment update that could be useful for others outside of North Carolina. Perhaps this could be a role of the ICP.
I hope that you will find this edition helpful and interesting. Please be sure to leave feedback for the host and tell the individual contributors what you think of their work as well.
Peace to you all!
