First 2006 Night Blooming Cereus Bloom

Seeming simply to await a cooler temperature before splaying, the first bloom on this 32 year old (or so) cactus opened just an hour or so ago, around 11pm. You can find the history of this plant here.

I didn't know until your question that it is a ric rac cactus, but I do believe it is!
