"Bring 'em Home" Concert, 20 March 2006, NYC

March 20th marks the third anniversary of the beginning of the war in Iraq. To commemorate the event, there will be a special concert in New York City, featuring guest of honor Cindy Sheehan and music by Michael Stipe of REM, Rufus Wainwright, Brighteyes and among others, my friends from 1 Giant Leap. Please tune in to listen to my friends and to help promote peace rather than lies and war. Support our troops by ending our occupation of Iraq as soon as possible.

Let's put this war in perspective a bit. We have now been in Iraq for three years. World War II only ran from December 7, 1941 until early September of 1945. The current Congressional and White House Republican leadership does not seem to be in a hurry to end our pre-emptive, aggressive and immoral war in Iraq. Remember to consider this when you vote in the next election and let's get some honest, open and willing leadership in Washington.
