Comment Functions

There are apparently some bugs in the Blogger Comments function. After I changed the settings a couple of weeks ago to require sight verification, it switched off the ability for people "not on the team" to comment. I finally became aware of that issue and corrected it, only to find that the new settings defaulted to "no comments on new posts" no matter how many times I tried to override that option. Finally, I found a different angle for changing that setting and it worked. You have to click the little cog on the sign-in page to make your changes permanent.

Comments are back on, and should have a verification procedure to keep unwanted blogbots from adding worm-filled useless comments again.
